Retail Operations Hub

Order Management System (OMS) is a full-stack commerce operations hub for sellers that need one place to connect marketplace shops, synchronize orders, monitor fulfillment health, manage master catalog data, match channel products, control stock by location, and read sales performance without jumping between separate admin panels.

Case study

From real problem to usable system.

See why this system matters, how Arghafy shapes delivery, and what clients can expect.

Business problem

Commerce teams often run daily operations across separate marketplace dashboards, spreadsheets, and manual stock checks. This makes it difficult to see order status, product consistency, inventory risk, and sales performance from one reliable source.

Arghafy solution

Arghafy shaped the OMS as a central operations hub: marketplace shops connect into the system, orders are normalized, product and channel catalog data can be reviewed, inventory is tracked by location, and dashboards turn operational data into actions for fulfillment and sales teams.

Timeline estimate

12-20 weeks for a production-ready first rollout, depending on marketplace API access, data migration, and warehouse rules.

Best fit customer

Retail brands, distributors, D2C sellers, and marketplace-heavy teams that need one operational layer across Shopify, Shopee, Tokopedia/TikTok Shop, and internal fulfillment.

OMS Modules

Modules inside the Order Management System

Each module helps sellers control the operational path from order intake to sales insight.

Orders Center

A paginated order workspace with tabs for new, fulfilled, canceled, failed, and all orders, plus search, marketplace, payment, location, fulfillment, and date-range filters. Teams can export selected order data to CSV for reconciliation or reporting.

Master Catalog

Central product data management for SKU, product type, pricing, dimensions, stock rules, images, variants, and status. The catalog supports CSV templates, Shopify-style import parsing, batch import progress, and product creation from the admin interface.

Channel Products

Marketplace products can be pulled into the OMS, grouped by channel, rematched to master products, filtered by sync status or stock condition, and pushed back to Shopify when the master catalog is ready to publish.

Inventory

Inventory is tracked by location with on-hand, pending transaction, buffer, minimum, and available stock. The UI highlights good, low, and out-of-stock items and can seed inventory from Shopify locations.

Sales Dashboard

The dashboard summarizes monthly total orders, net sales, unfulfilled orders, active marketplaces, marketplace sales share, and Shopify channel breakdowns such as POS, Online Store, and Draft Order.

Marketplace Connections

The marketplace area manages connected shops, OAuth flows for Shopify, Shopee, and Shop | Tokopedia, optional manual Shopify token setup, sync windows, and sync-by-created-or-updated controls for Shopify order and refund refreshes.

GraphQL Backend

NestJS GraphQL APIs power orders, catalog, inventory, marketplaces, users, and JWT authentication. The backend persists data with TypeORM and MySQL migrations, including order sales events for cleaner sales and refund reporting.

Arghafy approach

Custom development for practical business systems.

Arghafy can build from scratch, improve existing applications, or connect websites and internal tools into one cleaner workflow.
